This recipe, although contains a lot of fruits, is safe to consume on phase 3 of the hCG diet. The recipe I will share with you contains only 115 calories per serving and it makes 4 servings in total.
So, without further ado, here are the ingredients that you will need to make the hCG Diet Refreshing Fruit Salad:
1/2 cup water
2/3 cup sugar
2 cups thinly sliced rhubarb
15 seedless grapes cut in half
10 fresh strawberries cut in half
1 diced apple
1 sliced peach
1 plum sliced
15 Bing cherries
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
Get a medium saucepan and boil the water over medium heat. After the water starts boiling, add the sugar into the saucepan.
After the water has boiled, drop the rhubarb in and cover it. Cook over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until the rhubarb gets soft.
After it gets soft, get the rhubarb off the saucepan and put it in an ice bath to chill. When cooled, mash the rhubarb and then refrigerate it for an hour. This will be the base of the hCG diet Refreshing Salad.
When you're going to serve it, just mix all of the other fruits together in a big cup filled with the rhubarb sauce. Ideally, fill a cup with 2/3 of the rhubarb sauce and then fill it with the fruits in the ingredients list.
After putting the fruits in, stir gently until every fruit is coated with the rhubarb goodness.
Before serving, refrigerate the fruits for a good 2 hours to allow the flavors to blend in. Serve and Enjoy!
